This small spot, though unassuming from the outside, is an ice cream sundae gem for people who can handle their next-level layering of toppings with ice cream. A sundae is $8 (with hard ice cream) or $7 with soft serve, and could easily satisfy two people. Their flavors are diverse and delicious, and they also make their own waffle cones, a worthwhile feature that makes them stand out from other North Shore ice cream establishments. The staff was also incredibly nice, even despite the busy night!

We had an extremely bad experience at Dairy Witch on September 17th. Our daughter, who has a peanut allergy, ordered soft serve with rainbow sprinkles. While eating it, she tasted something she thought tasted like peanuts. The sprinkles had been contaminated with peanut toppings. We found pieces in the sprinkles. We ended up calling 911 and went by ambulance to the hospital. I sent a note to Dairy Witch through their website that night to let them know. I did not receive a response. I called a few days later and never received a call back. Mistakes happen, but their lack of response to such a serious issue is completely unacceptable.

The ice cream is good, but the sundaes are the highlight for me. Plenty of mix-ins and toppings and good portion size. There can be a wait, but staff really works hard and does a good job managing the. line Parking can be tricky (it's like a one way circle, so you may need to loop around or find a space on the street), but not much they can do about it.

Small mom & pop stand. V nice. Passed it on the way from Salem to Peabody & made a point to stop on the way back. Enjoyed a pineapple sundae w vanilla soft serve. Hit the spot on a hot day.

My crew all ordered ice cream and said it was delicious. The only knock is cost I guess. Almost $4 for a small cone is a lot with a big family. There is no seating either so it’s a grab and to your car type of place. Oh and it’s called the diary witch but they could call it bobs ice cream stand because there is no witch theme, flavors or decor. It’s like any other ice cream stand.

Seems to be Richardson's ice cream, which is always good! Good variety of flavors, but enormous variety of toppings and can also make frappes, wiches, and soft serve. Excellent amount of ice cream for the price and the staff are great at their job!
